After a great tectonic event causes a massive fissure in a remote section of the earth, a group of kids living with their scientist parents on a research lab near the fissure make a discovery - that dragons are real… and they're back.

After a comet nearly collides with earth – creating an immense, mysterious fissure – a group of kids discover that within the fissure is an entrance to the Hidden World.

1,300 years after dragons have returned to the Hidden World - in our modern times - dragons are things of myth and legends. But after a great tectonic event causes a massive fissure in a remote section of the earth, a diverse group of kids living with their scientist parents on a research lab near the fissure make an amazing discovery - that dragons are real…and they're back. The fissure has opened up an entrance to the Hidden World and now these kids will meet and train their own new dragons and explore brand new realms of the Hidden World while trying to keep them a secret from the rest of the world.
