They're keen to speak Welsh but also hopeless. New comedy from Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

They're ready to learn but are we ready for them? All The Learners want to do is get by in Welsh. A new comedy series from Ynys Mon's own Kiri Pritchard-Mclean.

Jonesy (Tudur Owen) has the unenviable task of teaching Welsh to a group of adult learners from north Wales in this new warm and witty new comedy from comedian Kiri Pritchard-Mclean.

Cathy (Janice Connolly, aka Mrs Barbara Nice star of Britain’s Got Talent) and Frank (Mick Ferry, Searching for Eric) are very keen – in fact this is their third year in the beginners’ class. Yara (Lisa Zahra) has recently arrived from Syria and is determined to learn the language of her new home; Jess (Kath Hughes, Gein’s Family Giftshop) has her eyes on a Sennedd seat and needs to polish up her skills for work. Ken (Les Dennis) is in trouble – and not just because he hasn’t memorised his mutations.


In episode two we’re delving deep into Welsh culture, learning about Santes Dwynwen and heading to practice what we’ve learned on the mean streets of Llandudno
