Fitness coach Joe Wicks talks to inspirational people to ask them what they do to keep themselves feeling mentally and physically strong. Actor Sam Claflin shares his tips for health and happiness and discusses how being a parent has changed his priorities in life.
Sam’s first major film role was in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and he’s gone on to appear in The Hunger Games film franchise, Enola Holmes and Journey's End. But he’s perhaps best known for playing fascist politician Oswald Mosley in BBC One's Peaky Blinders.
Joe caught up with Sam to talk fitness, family and Sam's phenomenal rise to Hollywood fame. Sam describes the pressure he sometimes feels to stay super fit as a man in the film industry and explains that he likes the challenge of a film involving a physical transformation. And he and Joe realise they share a common love for exercising with their young children.
Joe’s hit Radio 4 podcast is available to watch on BBC iPlayer for the first time. Show less
