Actor Neil Morrissey and presenter JJ Chalmers scour Staffordshire for antiques.

Actor Neil Morrissey takes on TV presenter JJ Chalmers in the antiques buying challenge. Expect a palomino horse, an old monkey, a rattling teddy and a furious farmer.

Actor Neil Morrissey takes to the B roads of Cheshire and Staffordshire with his good pal, TV presenter JJ Chalmers. They are accompanied by antiques experts Izzie Balmer and Charles Hanson – all on their best behaviour. 

JJ detours from the shops to dress as a crow and join a troupe of dancing villagers, much to the annoyance of an irate farmer who takes aim with a shotgun. Meanwhile, after a potter around the Potteries, Neil has a go at some quite elaborate ceramic decoration in a style that made one local lad very famous.

Neil seems to know a bit about the antiques world, but former Royal Marine Commando JJ says he'd rather be back in a war zone than have to haggle. Who will emerge victorious from the unarmed combat of the Staffordshire auction?
