BBC Two - Flushed Away

A domestic rat is flushed into the sewer system and must find his way home.

Animated adventure. A domestic rat is accidentally flushed into the sewers and must get home with the help of a streetwise drain dweller.

Pet rat Roddy, evicted from his lavish but lonely lifestyle, finds himself in a rodent city in the sewers, where adventurous Rita is doing battle with minions of the villainous Toad. Thanks to Roddy's 'help', the conflict escalates, placing him and Rita in deadly danger.

Featuring the voices of Hugh Jackman (Roddy), Kate Winslet (Rita), Ian McKellen (Toad), Jean Reno (Le Frog), Bill Nighy (Whitey), Andy Serkis (Spike), Shane Richie (Sid), Kathy Burke (Rita's Mum), David Suchet (Rita's Dad) and Miriam Margolyes (Rita's Grandma).
