Janice Forsyth chats to jazz-pop singer Julia Fordham and gets the lowdown on The Goldfinch painting and Windyhill, a private home designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

The pop and jazz influenced singer Julia Fordham, perhaps best known for her gold-selling album Porcelain in the late eighties is back on tour and will be chatting to Janice about her career singing backing vocals for stars such as Mari Wilson and Kim Wilde, and her return to the road.

Broadcaster and journalist Edi Stark gets a rare glimpse of Carel Fabritius' painting 'The Goldfinch' as the Dutch masterpiece goes on display for a limited time at the Scottish National Gallery. Edi discusses the meaning behind it and its allure with popular lecturer Gail Wylie and Senior Curator at the National Galleries of Scotland Dr Tico Siefert.

Music journalist Barney Hoskyns speaks about editing his latest anthology on Joni Mitchell, and what he discovered about the folk artist herself through the process of collecting the commentary on her life's work.

BAFTA award winning photographer and film maker Chris Leslie and Professor of Urban Literature Johnny Rodger tell Janice all about their multimedia project 'Disappearing Glasgow', charting the rapidly changing Glasgow skyline, as high-rise flats are demolished to make way for new build schemes. 

Art historian Anne Ellis gives Janice the lowdown on Windyhill in Kilmalcolm, one of only two private homes designed by the high priest of Art Noveau; Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
