Nigel Slater hosts a biographical chat show exploring the lives and loves of celebrities through their experiences of food. In this programme impressionist and satirist Rory Bremner reveals his food secrets. Chris Tarrant gets revenge as he challenges Rory to make a fish pie whilst impersonating him. Rory's co-star and friend John Fortune loses a ludicrously expensive truffle as he impersonates Nigella Lawson cooking for Rory, while Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason rustles up a middle eastern delight and Rory's wife knocks up his tagine of love. 

Eating his way back through time, Rory shares in the highs and lows of being one of the UK's leading impersonators - the constant pressure to be funny when not on TV, how he lost his father at a young age - and how his public school friends used to call him Acne Jock.
