Matt Baker presents live coverage of the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which are taking place in Montpellier, France. 

It is the first day of the individual apparatus finals, with the day's events including the men's pommel horse and the women's uneven bars. Great Britain have the reigning European champions in these two disciplines, with Max Whitlock and Becky Downie both set to defend their crowns. Downie could be joined in Montpellier by her 15-year-old sister Ellie, the current European junior vault champion, who is now eligible for selection for the senior event.

Former European and world champion Beth Tweddle provides expert analysis, with commentary from Christine Still and Mitch Fenner.
