A once-successful Hollywood producer is in trouble when his new movie gets panned.

A Hollywood producer (Robert De Niro) desperately tries to salvage his latest film amid mounting demands from his ex-wives, his daughter and his studio boss.

Hollywood satire. A formerly successful Hollywood producer runs into trouble when his new movie, a thriller starring Sean Penn, receives a terrible response at previews. As he tries to navigate the conflicting pressures of soothing egos and appeasing unsympathetic business executives against a background of looming failure, his personal life also proves increasingly difficult to manage.
