Absorbing drama in which a sheriff's search for truth leads to a confrontation with his father's past. 

A young sheriff returns to his roots, a small Texas-Mexico border town where his father had held the same position before him. The discovery of a skull on the edge of the settlement leads him to investigate his father's actions while he was a lawman in the area. Written and directed by John Sayles.
