A socialite enlists the help of a local newspaper editor to track down a murderer.

Screwball comedy and mystery starring Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda. A wealthy socialite finds a dead body but it disappears before the police arrive.

Wealthy socialite Melsa Manton has big problems - she just can't help finding corpses wherever she goes. What is worse, the cadavers keep disappearing and no-one will believe her. Enlisting the help of the local newspaper editor, she hopes to track down the murderer - before he can find her.
