An angel visits a self-doubting cleric, only to be distracted by the cleric's young wife.

Romantic fantasy about a preacher whose prayers to save his marriage and church are answered in the form of an angel. With Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston and Gregory Hines.

Romantic fantasy. A cleric begins to doubt himself and is visited by an angel. The heavenly emissary is supposed to help the good reverend over his midlife crisis, but he is distracted by the cleric's lovely young wife. A remake of the Cary Grant/Loretta Young feature, The Bishop's Wife.
