A struggling record producer decides to kill off his only remaining artist to boost sales.

Acerbic comedy. A struggling record producer (Rik Mayall) decides to kill off his only remaining artist in the hope that her death will boost her sales and make him rich again.

Black comedy satirising the music industry. Record producer Marty Starr is being squeezed for money by a gangster and his ex-wife, while the star he discovered wants to dump him. He decides the way out of his troubles is to have his 'creation' killed.
