There will be hugs and tears in the next couple of weeks as parents wave goodbye to their sons & daughters as they leave the nest to go off to college – experts are in the studio with some tips on how to make this momentous transition into the big bad world as painless as possible…..and Chef Paula McIntyre will be using the humble potato to make Champ & wedges for the student diet.

As the Rugby World Cup gets on its way in New Zealand  John receives a quick lesson on the game of Rugby from Sport’s presenter Gavin Andrews.

Joris Minne will be in the studio with the latest from the weekend papers and we’ll hear one man’s moving  memories of 9/11.
