Gardening series presented by Geoff Hamilton. In this edition, Geoff investigates how the use of colour in gardens can affect us. He goes on a tour of some captivatingly colourful gardens, visiting Miriam Rothschild's wildflower meadow, the medieval meads at Tretower Court in Powys, and a garden in Hampshire that has been restored according to its original 1908 planting scheme, designed by Gertrude Jekyll.Geoff examines how colour has been used within these gardens' overall design schemes, to bring a sense of vibrancy, energy and captivation to these green spaces. On Geoff's return to Barnsdale he begins to incorporate many of his recently-acquired colour design principles into his own garden. Show less
