What's the best way to gauge public opinion? Focus groups? Opinion polls? Or an MP's wife? Giles meets one Parliamentary spouse to see if she has her finger on the nation's pulse.

We are decamping to College Green - just opposite Parliament.

The deputy prime minister told celebrity interviewer Jemima Khan that he 'cries regularly to music'. He also admitted that he sometimes feels 'quite miserable'. We have more on that.
