World Champion Neil Robertson and John Higgins are aiming for a place in the second round.

World champion Neil Robertson has enjoyed a good start to the season with victory in September's World Open, and he will now be looking to book his place in the second round in Telford. 

Also aiming for a place in the last 16 is John Higgins, playing in his first UK-based tournament since April.
