BBC Northern Ireland region started on 19th April 1955 as part of the BBC Television Service, before becoming BBC One Northern Ireland.

Max meets Elizabeth and they move in together, but when she talks of marriage, he gets cold feet. He also becomes extremely jealous, and suspects her of having an affair with a friend. His jealousy is manipulated by Lena, a colleague who likes him and wants him to break up with Elizabeth.
