John Toal goes back in time to a Medieval castle, he finds out how life has improved in New Orleans 5 years after Hurricane Catronia & author John Powell reveals the mystery of music.

This week on the Saturday Magazine programme John Toal goes back in time to a Medieval castle in Carlingford where a family lives life as they did in 1210!

Itâs now five years since Hurricane Katriona wrecked havoc on New Orleans and we find out from Northern Ireland author Stephen Rea how the city is still in a sense rebuilding and if things have improved.

Have you ever wondered why some pieces of music make us want to dance, while others leave us tearful and why certain notes sound great together and others clash?  Author John Powell explains the mystery of music.

And as this weekend sees the return of Northern Irelandâs largest Multi-cultural Festival with sights, smells, music, dance and food from over 30 nations join John Toal for a sneak preview.
