A young Asian woman joins a football team, but does not tell her traditionalist family.

Comic tale of an Asian teenager who joins a local football team but does not tell her traditionalist family who want her to go to law school and settle down with a nice Indian boy.

Comedy drama. To avoid her Sikh parents' disapproval, soccer-obsessed teenager Jess Bhamra hides the fact she has joined a local female football team, where her friendship with a fellow player and growing attraction for the coach cause repercussions for all concerned.
