John Inverdale introduces coverage from Birmingham's Alexander Stadium as the best of British athletics battle it out to be crowned UK champion, and with it the right to automatically book their place in the British team for the European Championships in Barcelona next month. 

Twelve months ago Jessica Ennis, Simeon Williamson, Christine Ohuruogu and Phillips Idowu were among the winners to enhance their reputations as the best athletes in the country.
