John finds out how to stay safe on the beach & lessons on Sportsmanship at the World Cup.

John will be finding out how to stay safe on the beach & catches up with the plastiki boat made of 12,000 plastic bottles. There'll be tips for a best man speech & Paula makes an alfresco feast.

This week on the Saturday Magazine programme John Toal takes to the great outdoorsâ¦heâll be finding out how to catch waves and have fun at the beach but still stay safe.  Paula takes out the wicker hamper & cool box and puts together some fabulous alfresco feasts.

John catches up with the plastiki â a boat made of twelve thousand plastic bottles.  He talks to volunteers at the Zoo who say if you want a little fun, to meet new friends and you love a challenge then volunteering may be for you.
