We are live from Derry & John talks to best selling author Jodi Picoult. We have live jazz as Derry celebrates its 9th Jazz Festival & Paula cooks up a cajun & creole dish from New Orleans!

This week the Saturday Magazine programme comes live from the North West -  Derry City on the Banks of the River Foyle. 

John Toal talks to best selling author Jodi Picoult about her new book âHouse Rulesâ -  a story about a teenage boy with Aspergerâs syndrome, it looks as what it means to be different in our society and how autism affects a family

Mirenda Rosenberg performs some smooth jazz as Derry celebrates its 9th City of Derry Jazz & Big Band Festival and Chef Paula McIntyre puts us in the mood with some cajun & creole cooking straight from the French Quarters of New Orleans. 

Its 40 years since local girl Dana won the Eurovision song contest with a massive international hit âAll Kinds of Everythingâ.  John asks her if she still tunes in and what she thinks of the more recent Eurovision Song contests.
