Sheep farmer James is proud that his 12-year-old son Charlie seems to be following in his farming footsteps. They are also both passionate about running their beloved sheepdogs and are heading to the prestigious Macclesfield sheepdog trials. It’s a magnet for the country’s best sheepdog triallists, who try their luck at winning a place on the national team. Also hoping to add to his huge trophy collection is Cumbrian farmer and auctioneer Ross, with his teenage son Oliver. While both sons manage to keep their cool and control their dogs, their experienced fathers must overcome pre-trial nerves, a challenging course, difficult sheep and bad weather. Show less
