Owena and Ivan are so enthusiastic about farming life that they want other people to experience it too! As well as running workshops using wool from their flock of Shetland sheep, they also produce slow-grown lamb, known as hogget. A lifeline for selling direct to customers is the award-winning Lewes Farmers Market in East Sussex. It’s also an important income stream for local cattle farmers Maxine and Ivan, who are literally building their farm from scratch. Having sold their house to buy a plot of land, they are living in a mobile home and dream of moving into their permanent house in the future.
