Gàrradh Phàdruig, follows progress of keen newbie gardener Peter MacQueen, as he sets about transforming his back garden in the heart of Glasgow from a messy, neglected disaster zone to productive and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space.
As we enter summer, it is time to lift the early potatoes while Peter finds caterpillars on the cabbage. He gets a bite of his first home-grown fruit, a juicy plum! Coinneach bakes a cake from the first set of carrots to be lifted and Peter gives the plants a good drenching with seaweed fertiliser. We see Una and Chrissie pop in for a visit with mum, Annie - and Peter visits Donna MacLeod at her allotment in Glasgow.
The series is filmed across a growing season, from January to October. Seòras the dog is with Peter all of the time - Westies love to get their paws dirty!
