After one celebrity was knocked out in the last episode, the remaining four celebrities face two more culinary challenges, as they battle for a place in the semi-finals.
The pairs challenge sees the four celebrities split into two teams of two, in a test of teamwork and communication. Each member of each team must cook the same dish, which must be identical in both appearance and flavour - but there is a catch. They are separated by a wall. The only way for the celebrities to successfully produce identical plates is by communicating through the wall. One team has the task of recreating John Torode’s pan-fried cod wrapped in ham and served with lentils, and the other his calves' liver, champ mash and red wine sauce.
Then, the celebrities’ team work skills are pushed to the extreme as they are faced with their first mass catering challenge, cooking lunch at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. There’s pressure and drama a-plenty as the two teams try to cook up a storm for these McLaren teams. Show less
