Live athletics coverage from Doha, where Norwegian teenage star Jakob Ingebrigtsen shows off his incredible middle distance talents. Ingebrigtsen sprung to prominence by winning 1500m and 5000m European Championship gold medals in Berlin last summer aged just 17.

Twelve months on he is aiming to climb the World Championship podium after another impressive season which has regularly seen him sparring with the world’s best, including 2017 World Championships runner-up Timothy Cheruiyot.

Charlie Da’Vall Grice has also enjoyed a breakthrough summer – moving to fourth on the British all-time list – so is also desperate to feature at the sharp end of this 1500m final.
