The fast and furious sport of canoe slalom takes centre stage with highlights from the opening World Cup event of 2019 at the Lee Valley White Water Centre in London.

Britain's team is spearheaded by Olympic kayak champion Joe Clarke and Ryan Westley, who is the reigning European champion in men's canoe single and who also won silver at 2018's World Championships.

Mallory Franklin, Britain's most successful female paddler in 2018, will also be in action, as will 36-year-old David Florence, who won the second of his three Olympic silver medals at Lee Valley at London 2012.
