Biographical drama starring Victor Garber, Saul Rubinek, Maureen Stapleton
He was born Walter Valentino Liberace. He dreamt of becoming a great classical pianist, but then dedicated himself to success rather than music, playing in whorehouses, sleazy bars and small nightclubs as he honed his craft. Liberace cultivated a flamboyant and glamorous image, earning the title Mr Showmanship. But all the glitter served only to hide a sad and unfulfilled private life, culminating in lawsuits and the star's final illness through Aids.
