The second of six programmes about the RSPCA

Police patrol cars on the A1 stop cattle lorries for Chief Inspector Sid Jenkins to check their contents. This leads to heated arguments with the drivers. The Animal Squad tries to capture a giant terrapin at large in a disused power station. A fox imprisoned in a back yard on a council estate is rescued by Sid and taken on a 350-mile journey to be released into the countryside. And the squad stakes out a house following stories of some rum goings on.
