First Time Planting

on BBC Two England

The east facing border gets most of its sunshine in the early morning. Beth Chatto and Rosemary Verey show their ideas for planting their own east borders selecting yellow foliage shrubs which provide pools of brightness throughout the day. Fencing for climbing plants gives an added dimension to the garden and planted correctly, clematis will give years of enjoyment in the garden.
Presented by Geoff Hamilton and Gay Search.
