Cricket: Fifth Test

on BBC One London

Live coverage of the first morning's play in the Fifth Cornhill Insurance Test between England and Australia at Trent Bridge. Australia have fought back after their defeat in the first Test to recover their form in great style. With the six-match Ashes series at a crucial stage, England will have happy memories of the Test here four years ago, when they had the better of a drawn match and Graham Thorpe scored a century on his Test debut. On that occasion a dogged innings by Steve Waugh helped save Australia from defeat.
Introduced by Tony Lewis with commentary by Richie Benaud, Geoffrey Boycott, David Gower and Ian Chappell.
