With Peggy Reynolds.
Lola Montez was born Eliza Gilbert James in Limerick in 1805 but, posing as a Spaniard, she danced her way through history, consorting with royalty from Paris to St Petersburg. Liszt and Wagner both crossed her path, but she ended up in Grass Valley, California, with only her animals for company.

Delibes The Maids of Cadiz - Hollywood Bowl SO, conductor Carmen Dragon
Liszt Concert Fantasy on Spanish Airs - Leslie Howard (piano)
Herold Overture: Zampa - Polyphon Music Box
