Singing in a barbershop chorus is a passion that can take over one's life, as members of Shannon Express, a 70-strong group from Potton, Bedfordshire, will attest. For the last five years they have been working towards a gold medal at the national barbershop championships in Harrogate. Will they go on to represent Britain at next year's international convention in America?
