The eighth of ten programmes The Sale at Stagbatch Farm
Lewis Holland toiled with small reward on his farm in Hereford until he was 73, then sold up and found that he was worth a fortune. The film follows him through the exciting weeks of the sale culminating on a wild day in September when the whole farming community turned up to see what grand total would be reached as the last of his effects went under the hammer.
