The Rt Rev Desmond Tutu , preached to thousands of Welsh Christians at the invitation of the Council of Churches in Wales.
God's Family is a national ecumenical festival held at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Showground in rural Powys. Seminars, workshops, sports events and prayer-groups are a part of the day, but the highlight is this bilingual service. It provided an opportunity to hear one of today's foremost Christian leaders preach about the worldwide implications of belonging to the family of God. Readings: Ephesians 3. vv 14-21; John 15, vv 110
