Korean violinist Kyung-Wha Chung began her musical education with piano lessons at the age of four.
Bored with the piano, she switched to the violin at six, and three years later made her debut as a soloist, playing the Mendelssohn violin concerto. She talks to Joan Bakewell about her remarkable childhood, the Juilliard School and her great teacher, Ivan Gaiamian. Producer Kerry Chapman
