David, an orphan robbed of his inheritance by a crooked San Francisco lawyer Lucius, is adopted by Doc Brown , a rustic philosopher, and his wife. But when David discovers buried treasure in an old mission, the new-found wealth threatens the happiness of David, Doc and their friends.
