Cahokia - America's Lost Metropolis

on BBC Two England

Underneath the highways and office blocks of St Louis, in the heart of North America, lie the remains of a much earlier, Native American metropolis known as Cahokia. This film, showing as part of the occasional Ancient
Voices series, traces the story of this once great city of earth mounds which, 1,000 years ago, was bigger than London or Rome. See Choice.
