continues a celebration for his forthcoming 80th birthday. with Frank Sinatra , Sophia Loren Grant plays an uncharacteristic role as a British naval officer in this spectacular version of C. S. Forrester's The Gun. A handful of Spanish guerrillas retreat before Napoleon's invading forces. Taking with them the biggest canon ever made, they trek across Spain. The gun seems to take on a life of its own, endangering its captors as well as its enemies.
