Six young pianists have progressed to the concerto finals, which take place this evening and tomorrow in the Town Hall, Leeds. Tonight, the first three finalists join Simon Rattle and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to perform their concertos.
Howard Goodall introduces the concert and is joined by lain Burnside, who has been listening to the semi-final recitals. SIMULTANEOUS BROADCAST with BBC2
