Torrey Canyon Today
Fifteen years ago a supertanker, loaded with crude oil, rammed the Seven Stones Reef off Land's End and caused widespread pollution. Torrey Canyon achieved worldwide notoriety overnight as an illustration of the environmental risks of a modern society. Bombed and set ablaze, she has been hidden since at the bottom of the reef.
The underwater camera team of Laurie Emberson and Jeff Good man show us what she's like today.
