Live from the Royal Festival Hall, London, Alyn Shipton introduces sets by two leading tenor saxophonists. Denys Baptiste opens the concert with material from his new album Alternating Currents, which features Kevin Robinson (trumpet and flugelhorn), Winston Rollins (trombone),
Andrew McCormack (piano), Larry Bartley (double bass), Tom Skinner (drums) and Juliet Roberts (vocals). American Joshua Redman brings his latest quartet of Aaron Goldberg (piano), Reuben Rogers (bass) and Greg Hutchinson (drums). During the interval Redman talks to Alyn Shipton about his recent work including Passage ofTime.
