Horizon: Dr Money and the Boy with No Penis

on BBC Two England

In 1966, a bungled circumcision left baby Bruce Reimer without a penis. On the advice of psychologist Dr John Money, Bruce was raised as Brenda. Later, as a troubled teenager, Brenda underwent surgery to become David. He married, raised children - and tragically committed suicide in April 2004. Transcripts of meetings with his psychiatrist and interviews with David and his family illustrate his powerful story.
