A series of eight programmes featuring some of the best films made in Europe,
Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA Garbage of Eden
This unusual view of wildlife was made by New Zealand Television for their award-winning series, Wild South. It looks at wildlife on a town rubbish dump - seagulls, starlings, and stray cats. At night, the star players are rats - inquisitive and amusing rather than sinister. They eat, brawl and care for their families while overhead the garbage collapses, explodes and burns. ntle graphics KATHY REEVES and PETER WIGNALL
