Made by Group 3-also responsible for the British Film Comedy Laxdale Hall seen a few weeks ago -Make Me an Offer is an adaptation of the popular contemporary novel by Wolf Mankowitz who injected an element of traditional East End culture into the British literary scene of the time.
Peter Finch, the Australian actor who came to London in the late 1940s, achieved his first starring role in tonight's film after a series of prominent supporting parts.
