1890. The Skidars, a poor but honest regiment, against all odds. have reached the final of the Upper India FretFor-All Polo cup. They now face the imposing Archangels - an elite regiment.
It's up to the ponies of the Skidars led by the gallant Maltese Cat, a flea-bitten grey, to attempt victory against the thoroughbreds of the opposing side....
