As a tribute to Sir Geraint
Evans - the Welsh opera singer who died in September this year - BBC2 repeats the series of masterclasses which he gave in 1981, offering guidance to young singers in the portrayal of operatic characters.
Today La Bohème, introduced by Richard Suart , currently performing in Princess Ida at
London's Coliseum, who recalls his memories of of this masterclass. With Helen Lawson , Gordon Christie ,
Jennifer Rhys-Davies , Martin Nelson , Keith Latham and Philip Guy-Bromley . Producer David Buckton
