The best remaining example of the ' J ' class yachts and one of the loveliest sailing ships ever built, Shamrock is the largest single-masted vessel in the world. She was originally commissioned by the millionaire Sir Thomas Lipton in the early 1930s, in his final attempt to win the America's Cup for Britain.
Now restored by an Italian millionaire, she is again a ' greyhound of the sea '. Narrator TOM SALMON
